Door access

Works with the door you have.

SuiteCue connects to the access system already on your door, and falls back to your own code when there is nothing to connect to. Every booking gets a pass for its appointment window.

SuiteCue is pre-launch. The labels below say how far each connection has been checked.

How a pass works

From booking to door, in five states.

The same lifecycle applies to every door. Only the way the pass is made on your system changes.

  1. Scheduled

A booking is confirmed, and SuiteCue holds a pass for the appointment window. Nothing opens yet.

  2. Live

The window is open. The pass turns green and shows the PIN, QR code, or link for your door.

  3. Used

The client got in, and the door recorded it. The pro is told the client has arrived.

  4. Expired

The window closed. The pass stops working.

  5. Revoked

The booking was cancelled, or the tenancy ended. The pass stops working at once.

Universal fallback

Any keypad, any static code.

For any keypad or static code, including systems with no way for SuiteCue to connect. It works in every building.

How it works

  1. You enter the code your door already uses. SuiteCue stores it encrypted.
  2. The pass keeps the code hidden until the appointment window opens. The code is revealed only inside the window.
  3. The client taps I'm here when they arrive, and the pro is told.

Good to know

  • A keypad or a shared code on the door. Systems with no public API, such as Alarm.com, use this too.
  • The lock itself does not change, so the pass controls when the code is shown, not whether the keypad accepts it.

Smart locks through Seam

One connection, many brands.

Seam gives SuiteCue a single way to reach these locks and access systems.

How Seam passes work

Direct connections

Straight to the system, when you have one of these.

Kisi and Brivo also work through Seam. A direct connection skips Seam, so it adds no Seam credit cost.

Questions

Door questions, answered.

What if my door is not listed?

Use the universal fallback. It works with any keypad or static code, and with systems that have no way for SuiteCue to connect. Tell us what you have on the design partner form and we will say what is possible.

Become a design partner
Can a client see the code before their appointment?

No. The pass keeps the code hidden until the appointment window opens, on every kind of door.

How long before an appointment does a pass go live?

The building owner sets that for each location, along with how long a pass stays valid after the window ends. SuiteCue does not choose those times for you.

What if SuiteCue cannot set up a pass?

The pro is told, and if you turned on the universal fallback for the building, the pass falls back to your own code so the client is not left outside.
